Living Authentically with Anna Perschin

What does authentic self means to you?

Authentic self means to me being on a journey of accepting my dark & bright parts wihtin me and being honest with myself on a regular base. So the light of my soul can shine through my thoughts, words and actions to be a healthy extension of my source. Because of acceptance - which is another form of love - and the willingness to go for my dreams I can create an abundant life which corresponds to my soul's path. Moreover tuning into the present moment as much as I can helps me to increase more awareness in my state of being (body, mind & soul) and create more consciousness in my daily life.

When you passion for living authentically begin?

My passion for living authentically began on the first of February 2023. At this point my journey of meditation and healing myself from past wounds started while I let go of people and addictions which kept me in unhealthy environments inside and outside of myself.

What practices and tools help you tune into your inner guidance?

The best tool I have been practicing every day for 17 months now and which is giving me the best results to live a fulfilled life is morning meditation -> Silence, accepting, observing and letting go of what no longer serves me Futhermore: - creating time and space for healing to release emotions through crying - journaling and talking about my feelings and different situations of my life to gain a deeper view of healing and awareness - moving my body on a daily base through walking, dancing to my favorite songs and working out regulary helps me to stay connected with my awareness in the body and less in the mind - singing mantras (like ॐ) - listening to spiritual music (like indian flute music; so goood!) - breathing daily into my heart space with presence and love Working together with the present moment by allowing rest in my daily life and asking myself what my body needs is something I learned over the months by including mindfulness exercises.

Why is it important for you to both learn and unlearn on your journey?  

For me it is important to both learn and unlearn on my journey because every day is different and I always wake up as a different person than I was yesterday and obviously a year ago. To learn about what is true and feels right for me I am constantly unlearning the things that society and my past has taught me. So I can let go of the things that no longer fit my needs, wishes, goals and dreams. As I keep growing and transforming the Anna now needs different things than the past versions of her. That is why e.g. developing new skills, acquiring new knowledge and including new routines in my life are very important to fit the version I want to be now/in the future - as my life continues and my goals and visions change over time.

What actions should we take as we pursue our authentic self-expression?  

We should communicate honest with the people we love...

...leave places and people who drain us

...quit addictions

...visit the forest!!!

...reflect our inner state of being

...NEVER GIVE UP

...stay true to ourselves

...and meditate daily ♥
